ZUVE Nail Size Guide — Find Your Perfect Press-On Fit

Getting the right nail size is the single most important factor in how natural and long-lasting your press-on nails look. Too narrow and there'll be gaps at the sides. Too wide and they'll lift at the edges. This guide helps you find your perfect fit across all 10 fingers.

What Sizes Come in a ZUVE Set?

Every ZUVE nail set includes 30 nails in 15 sizes — 2 nails of each size. Size range: XS (Size 0) through XL (Size 14).

Most people find they use:

Finger	Typical Size Range
Thumbs	Size 7–9 (wider sizes)
Index fingers	Size 4–6
Middle fingers	Size 5–7
Ring fingers	Size 3–5
Pinkies	Size 0–2 (smallest sizes)

How to Find Your Nail Size — Step by Step

Method 1: The Hold-and-Check Method (easiest)

Open your ZUVE set and lay all 30 nails out on a flat surface.
Hold each nail size over your natural nail without pressing it down.
The nail should cover your nail plate from left side wall to right side wall — edge to edge — without touching the skin on either side.
If the nail barely touches the skin at the sides, go one size down.
If there's a visible gap between the nail and the skin, go one size up.

Golden rule: When in doubt, choose the larger size. You can file the edges for a precise fit — but you can't make a too-small nail wider.

Pro Tips for a Perfect Fit

Measure both hands — your dominant hand fingers are often slightly wider
Nail width changes after hot showers — measure when nails are at room temperature
If an edge lifts after application, the nail is too wide — try one size down next time
Gently file the side edges of a nail that's slightly too wide — file in one direction only
Your ring finger and pinky nail sizes are usually very different — don't assume symmetry

What if I'm between two sizes?

Always choose the larger size. You can file the edges slightly for a precise fit — filing a press-on nail is easy and won't damage it.

Are all my nails the same size?

No. Most people have up to 5–6 different nail sizes across their 10 fingers. Your thumb is usually the widest; your pinky the narrowest.

Do nail sizes vary between ZUVE collections?

All ZUVE sets use the same 15-size system (Size 0–14). Once you know your sizes, they'll work across all collections.

My nails are very wide — will ZUVE sets fit?

Yes. ZUVE sets include both very small (Size 0) and wider sizes (up to Size 14). If you have unusually wide nails, contact us at support@zuvebeauty.com — we may have recommendations.
